[Announcement] “Tips and Recipes for Designing Lessons Using Generative AI: An Overview of the Initiatives by the Korea Institute of Education and Technology”

For the online symposium on Wednesday, May 13, we are pleased to welcome Mr. Cho Kyubok, Senior Researcher at the Korea Education and Research Information Service.

In South Korea, bold reforms are underway in the field of education, including the introduction of digital textbooks and the promotion of “AI and digital education platforms.”

While AI makes learning more efficient, might it also rob us of our “ability to think”?

This issue of “outsourcing cognition” is a major hurdle that future education cannot avoid.

At this symposium, in an effort to explore ways to achieve this, representatives from the Korea Education and Research Information Service (KERIS) will present on the current state of AI implementation in South Korea, provide an overview and background of the “Subject-Specific Guidebook for AI-Enhanced Lessons,” and share examples of AI-enhanced lessons. We hope you will join us.
