About the Neurodiversity Project
“Building a society where every individual can realize their full potential.”
Neurodiversity is a concept rooted in the diversity of our brains and nervous systems—a reality that applies to all of us.
Because of these individual characteristics, some people may feel that “life is difficult.” However, this “difficulty” is not caused solely by individual characteristics. It arises from the interaction between an individual’s characteristics and their physical and social environments. By respecting individual characteristics and creating appropriate environments, we can alleviate these “challenges” and transform individual traits into “strengths.”
We aim to build a society where these difficulties are resolved and where each person can fully realize their potential in their own way—by using technology to complement and enhance individual brain function and physical capabilities, and by redesigning the environment—including physical spaces, social institutions, and customs—from a Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) perspective.
Promoting neurodiversity can unlock new creativity in everyone and contribute to the development of society as a whole.

Overview of B Lab
“B Lab”—an acronym for “Beyond, Borderless, Breakthrough”—is a participatory platform that, while billed as a research institute, connects universities, research institutions, communities, and talent worldwide to fuse the unique skills and insights of many people, thereby creating new technologies, services, content, businesses, and societies. While its scope is broad—encompassing technology development, solving social issues, and creating new services—the common thread is social implementation and collective creation. Everyone—fathers, mothers, grandmothers, and children—is a researcher. Become a “Lifelong Seeker” and carry a second researcher’s business card.Social, open, and participatory, we aim to connect everyone—including users—to build a new society. By matching challenges, ideas, technologies, funding, skills, and people, we strive to create an exciting future together, from small-scale innovations to large-scale creations.
