- [Announcement] “The Potential for Learning Transformed by the Use of Educational Data”
The online symposium on Wednesday, January 14, will feature Mr. Mitsuhisa Nozaki from the Educational Data Science program at the Stanford Graduate School of Education, as well as Mr. Keizo Yoshida and Ms. Moe Izawa from Deloitte Tohmatsu LLC.
Unlike other industries such as finance, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing, the education sector is still in the early stages of data utilization. However, in recent years, the use of educational data has been expanding across the country, giving rise to a wide variety of practical applications. Furthermore, this is a field that holds great potential in all areas, including data generation, standardization, utilization, and visualization.
At this symposium, we will explore the potential for transforming learning and school environments through the use of educational data, and we will also discuss the challenges encountered in promoting its use, as well as specific solutions to those challenges.
Based on findings from the Educational Data Science Program at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Education, we will also share information on the latest initiatives and current trends overseas. We hope you will join us.
