The Postal Museum

The Postal Museum in London.

Whenever I travel abroad, I can’t help but stop by a children’s museum, and this one is no exception—it’s packed with hands-on exhibits where kids can have fun while learning.

The exhibition is designed to offer a multidimensional experience of the history of cities, society, and technology through the everyday medium of mail. It goes beyond simply displaying letters and stamps to provide a detailed look at the sorting system, on-site innovations, and the role that the postal service has played as part of urban infrastructure.

One of the most impressive features is the Mail Rail, which is located inside the building.

Riding on a subway line that was once used exclusively for mail delivery and experiencing a journey beneath central London is something you can only do at this museum. The appeal lies in being able to physically experience and understand the systems that have long supported the city behind the scenes.

The exhibits were beautifully designed, and it was a highly recommended museum that successfully balanced learning and fun!
