November 2–3, 2025: KMD Forum 2025 @ Chiyomoro!

This year's theme is "PLUS+."

In addition to our existing research activities, we will showcase and publicize co-creation projects with companies and local governments, with the aim of generating a greater social impact.

Everyone, be sure to mark your calendars!

■ The Meaning Behind the Theme “PLUS+”

The theme of the KMD Forum 2025, “PLUS+,” is a declaration of our commitment to creating new value by “adding” people, ideas, technology, and perspectives without being bound by existing frameworks. At KMD, we have taken a practical approach to addressing societal challenges, centered on 13 real-world projects that span technology, design, policy, and management. At this forum, in addition to these initiatives, we will strengthen our collaboration with companies, local governments, and regional communities to expand opportunities for dialogue and implementation that connect with the real world. “PLUS+” is not merely a slogan; it embodies KMD’s very approach to engaging with the society of the future. We aim to create a space where the accumulation of serendipitous encounters and discussions among exhibitors, participants, and visitors fosters new ideas and generates meaningful impact.
