Osaka Expo: “Yoshimoto Waraii Myraii Pavilion”

Osaka Expo. “Yoshimoto Waraii Myraii Pavilion.”

"Tama," a giant smiling sphere with a diameter of about 20 meters floating atop a hill, makes a striking impression.

It has a presence that draws the eye even from a distance, as if gently watching over the entire Expo.

Another thing that really stuck with me was the giant leek sculpture. So this is the legendary leek!!! Apparently, the leek’s floral meaning is “smile.”

At "Asita Square" at the foot of Mount Tama, the sound of children's laughter fills the air all day long.

When I stopped by on my way home, I noticed that the "smile count" had gone up.

Smiles Shape the Future!

At the Waraii Myraii Hall, time flowed in a warm, relaxed way, full of human warmth.
