Osaka Expo: PASONA NATUREVERSE

"PASONA NATUREVERSE" was amazing! The cutting-edge technology—like the beating heart created from iPS cells and the future of medicine—the sophisticated presentation that brought it to life, and the exquisite collaboration with beloved national characters like Astro Boy and Black Jack. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The highlight was the “NATUREVERSE Show.” Giant LED cubes floated, spun, and moved as if alive, creating an immersive experience that appealed to the senses—a prime example of how video displays have evolved into spatial installations and interactive experiences! I was told this was the first time in Japan that such a production using movable displays had been staged. It gave me the impression that this marked a turning point in the evolution of digital signage into a medium that allows people to experience a whole new world, and I could really feel the future.

Pasona’s NATUREVERSE, Yoichi Ochiai’s null2, Masaharu Kawamori’s ANIMA!, and so on,

There were several exhibits that showcased the fusion of space, mechatronics, and video, and I look forward to seeing how experiential design will evolve in the post-display era.

By the way, I hear that the spot Atom is pointing at while standing atop the ammonite-shaped structure is Awaji Island.

And the design of the Pasona Heartful cookie tin we received from everyone at Pasona who showed us around was lovely, too ^^
