[Speaker] Nagasaki City Programming Contest

Since it was a request from Seita, a KMD PoliPro graduate, I gave a talk at the Nagasaki City Programming Contest. It was a city-wide initiative attended by the mayor and the superintendent of education.

I could feel the energy from the children’s creativity and their passionate presentations spreading to everyone present.

I was also glad that the mayor took an interest in the community-building efforts through digital citizenship education that Seita-kun focused on in his master’s thesis, and that we were able to discuss future plans with him directly (*^^*). It’s a blessing to be able to continue exploring this same theme as my life’s work even after graduation.

The Seita family—who are as close as ever—gave me a ride to the airport, bringing my day trip to Nagasaki to a close.
