■ Learning of Tomorrow Announces Proposal on “Learning of Tomorrow in an AI Society” / Conducts “Survey on the Digitalization of Education” Targeting Local Government Leaders and Superintendents of Education
Nationwide　

　Learning of Tomorrow has released a proposal aimed at “Learning of Tomorrow in an AI Society.” This
proposal is based on a “Survey
on the Digitalization of Education” targeting mayors and superintendents of education nationwide.The survey was conducted among
mayors and superintendents of education nationwide, and 101 responses were received from local governments. Consisting
of six questions, it gathered opinions on the current status and challenges of the digitization of education.
　Based on the survey results, Learning of Tomorrow has put forward recommendations centered on three pillars
: “Improving the Last Mile of
Education,” “Promoting the Use of AI in Education,” and “Developing a Learning of Tomorrow Environment.”

　Waseda University’s School of Law has launched the endowed course “The Metaverse and Law,” introducing an interdisciplinary
education program that combines the humanities and sciences. In this course, all faculty and students take on the form of “avatars”—their online
alter egos—and conduct classes in a metaverse classroom
built within the metaverse.Professor Hajimeo Hitzuka of Waseda University’s
