[September 18 Event] “The Keio University AI and Advanced Programming Consortium: Aiming to Create a Learning Environment That Brings Together Motivated Students”

This week’s Learning of Tomorrow Online Symposium is titled “The Keio University AI and Advanced Programming Consortium: Aiming to Create a Learning Environment That Attracts Motivated Students.”

We are pleased to welcome Professor Takahiro Yako, Chair of the Keio University AI and Advanced Programming Consortium (commonly known as AIC).

AIC was founded in 2019 as a place where students—regardless of their major or year of study—can learn about AI, programming, and other related subjects, and it supports the development and production of AI and IT professionals who will play active roles in society.

Students are responsible for planning, organizing, and leading the workshops that form the foundation of our activities. Carrying on the spirit of “half learning, half teaching,” we conduct student-led activities where students gather to teach and learn from one another.

At this symposium, Mr. Yako, the representative of AIC, will speak about the organization’s founding history, its activities, and future challenges. We hope you will join us.
