- [Announcement] “The Keio University AI and Advanced Programming Consortium: Aiming to Create a Learning Environment That Brings Together Motivated Students”
For the online symposium on Wednesday, September 18, we are pleased to welcome Takahiro Yako, Professor at the Graduate School of System Design and Management, Keio University, and Chair of the AI and Advanced Programming Consortium.
Keio University’s AI and Advanced Programming Consortium (commonly known as AIC) was founded in 2019 as a place where students—regardless of their major or year of study—can learn about AI, programming, and related fields, and it supports the development and cultivation of AI and IT professionals who will play active roles in society.
Students are responsible for planning, organizing, and leading the workshops that form the foundation of our activities. Carrying on the spirit of “half learning, half teaching,” we conduct student-led activities where students gather to teach and learn from one another.
At this symposium, Mr. Yako, the representative of AIC, will speak about the organization’s founding history, its activities, and future challenges. We hope you will join us.
