[Announcement] “Initiatives at Re Gakuin, an Online Correspondence School for Students with Developmental Disabilities and Gifted Students”

We are pleased to welcome Mr. Shinya Tsukayama, President of Re Academy, to our online symposium on Wednesday, September 11.

Re Gakuin is scheduled to open in October 2024 as Japan’s first integrated middle and high school online correspondence school specializing in students with developmental disorders (LD, ADHD, autism spectrum) and gifted students (2E).

The middle school division operates as a free school, while the high school division functions as a correspondence support school in partnership with Yashima Gakuen University International High School, enabling students to earn a high school diploma. We aim to create a diverse and inclusive society where no one is disadvantaged in their educational pursuits due to their individual circumstances, and where everyone can make a fresh start and resume their education at any time.

At this symposium, we will hear about the background leading to the establishment of Re Academy, its unique features, and its curriculum. We hope you will join us.
