GREENWORKSHOP Report
On Saturday, May 25, we held the event “Let’s Set Off on a Creature Exploration Expedition!—Let’s Find the Creatures Living in Ark’s Garden” 🐝
*We were joined by special guest Hiroshi Sasaki, a professional naturalist.
I wonder what kinds of creatures live in Ark's garden?
Tracks left by the ever-popular tadpoles, slugs, and snails.
When I look up at the sky, I see butterflies fluttering about (both blue morpho butterflies and cabbage white butterflies have come to visit 🦋).
Explore the garden while listening to the captain’s quizzes and facts about the creatures living in the Ark!
Some kids even collected woodlice to make woodlouse piggy banks.
Finally, it's time for the "Ask About Animals" segment.
The Captain told us all sorts of stories about the creatures everyone is curious about.
The next GREENWORKSHOP will be held on Saturday, June 22: “Let’s Make Moist Potpourri Using Herbs from Your Garden”
"Let's find leaves and flowers that smell nice!" Stay tuned! 🍃
