[Report] First Neurodiversity Training Session

We've posted a report on the first Neurodiversity training session.

This training program, based on a curriculum centered on “Learning,” “Experiencing,” and “Creating,” encourages participants to understand one another’s differing perspectives and respect diverse ways of viewing the world, thereby contributing to the realization of a neurodiverse society.

In the “Understanding” segment, we discussed a society that respects neurodiversity, drawing on trends in neurodiversity both in Japan and abroad, as well as examples of innovation driven by diverse organizations.

In the “Hands-On Experience” segment, we invited Professor Nagai from the University of Tokyo to help us experience “the atypical visual world of people with ASD” using VR, while also learning about the mechanisms behind it.

In the “Create” segment, we held an ideathon using “Challenge Cards” to brainstorm actions each participant can take to help build a neurodiverse society. This segment goes beyond simply sharing diverse perspectives from around the world; it encourages participants to take these issues personally and inspires them to take action.

We’re delighted to have already received requests to incorporate this into our in-house training programs.

We're currently planning the second and third installments, too~.
