On March 3, we held
the “Museum Just for Kids” event in Takeshiba.

Here's a little peek at what it was like 😉

The theme for our first "Material Exploration" activity is "Let's find some pretty shades of pink among the materials!"

Even in such a short time, the children search for the pink item inside the box of materials.

"Shiny pink," "fluffy pink," "sparkly pink," "tiny pink"

Even if you go looking for things based on the same theme, the things you find and choose will vary.

■Exploring Materials

We hope that both first-time visitors and returning children will have wonderful experiences and make new discoveries.

That's the mindset I have as I gather and arrange the materials.

Even among materials that appear to be haphazardly arranged, children make new discoveries as they explore them.

■Time Just for Kids

The "Kids-Only Museum" experience begins the moment children part ways with their parents at the entrance.

Some children cautiously check out the venue, while others head straight inside—everyone moves at their own pace, but,

We'll create a space and atmosphere that fits the children's pace.

    After graduating from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Tokyo, he served as a visiting researcher at the MIT Media Lab before founding the NPO CANVAS and the Learning of Tomorrow Association, a General Incorporated Association, and assuming the role of representative. He serves as an outside director for Matsuya Co., Ltd., Fuji Media Holdings, Inc., and Digital Garage, Inc.
    He has served on various government committees, including the Information and Communications Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, as well as the NHK Central Broadcasting Program Council. He also serves as a director of the Digital Signage Consortium, among other roles. He holds a Ph.D. in Policy and Media.
    His publications include *Turning On Children’s Creativity!*, *What Are Smart Kids Doing on Their Smartphones?*, *The Forefront of Online Education in Japan: Considering Learning in the Post-COVID Era*,“What Is Programming Education? 45 Questions Parents Want to Know,” and “Declaration on Digital Education.” He has also provided supervision for numerous works, including “Ah, I See! Programming Education for Parents and Children Through Manga.”
