The Workshop Collection in Fukuoka Was a Huge Success!

Workshop Collection in Fukuoka. A Huge Success!

There was a huge line starting an hour before opening. Within 10 minutes of opening, the wait was already two hours, and an hour later, some booths had already run out of numbered tickets—it reminded me of the crowds back when there were 100,000 people in Tokyo.

Companies include Nishi-Nippon City Bank, Nishi-Nippon Railroad, Kyushu Electric Power, Fukuoka Bank, Nishi-Nippon Shimbun, NTT Docomo, Seibu Gas, Takeda Megane, LINE, Japan Airlines, JR Kyushu, Accenture, Eishinkan, Kaho Musen, and Goody.Educational institutions include Kyushu University, Fukuoka Institute of Technology, Kyushu Institute of Technology, Kurume National College of Technology, and Fukuoka Futaba High School. Museums include the Fukuoka City Science Museum and Marine World Uminonakamichi.

They offer a wide variety of unique workshops, and the children are absolutely captivated.

During the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the opening, just as at the Workshop Collection in Yamaguchi, balloons soared into the sky, and I’m delighted to see how the Workshop Collection events in various regions are incorporating ideas from one another.

Three TV stations have come to cover the event, and I hear it’s already being broadcast, so it looks like there will be even more people tomorrow!

Making Sanpo Foods' cup noodles. I wanted to try that, too… ^^;
