Work in Kaiyo Town, Part 4: Class at Kaibe Elementary School

Work in Kaiyo Town, Part 4.

A lesson at Kaifu Elementary School—which received the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology’s Award for Educators—on a passage contributed to the Japanese language textbook published by Mitsumura Shoten.

Since around 2015, Kaifu Elementary School has provided one computer per student, introduced programming education, and has recently begun offering metaverse classes that connect small schools.

It’s an amazingly advanced school—the library is equipped with drones, HMDs, and all kinds of robots.

That evening, at Tenya-ya, we used all five senses to savor the fish and other dishes that a teacher from Kaifu Elementary School had caught for us.

As always, it was absolutely delicious.
