- [Report] Saturday, January 27: “Let’s Learn About Traditional Japanese Festivals, Part 3: Let’s Make a Scarecrow to Protect the Flowers”

*******************************************
On Saturday, January 27, we held the event “Let’s Learn About Traditional Japanese Customs, Part 3: Let’s Make a Scarecrow to Protect the Flowers.”

Many birds gather in Ark's garden.
Perhaps the colorful flowers and plants look tasty to the birds, so unfortunately, some of them end up getting eaten.

This time, we made scarecrows to protect the plants from those birds.

Let's dress it up and put a hat on it—what kind of face would protect the plants?

After a lot of trial and error, the colorful scarecrow is finally complete!

Install it in your yard, and you can rest easy!

The garden, now a little livelier, patiently awaits the arrival of spring.
The next GREENWORKSHOP will be held on Saturday, February 24: “~The Story of Our Precious Cotton~ Let’s Make a Tapestry Using the Cotton We All Grew.” We hope you’ll join us! 🌸
