- Decisive Decluttering
The other day, at a gathering of B Lab researchers, one of the researchers gave me my very first personal color analysis.
That aside, since I find buying and choosing clothes a hassle, I’ve recently settled on wearing white dresses as my go-to.
There was a discussion some time ago about how Steve Jobs’ habit of wearing the same outfit every day helped him reduce the number of daily decisions he had to make and conserve energy.
When I first heard about it, I was skeptical—I wondered, “Can choosing what to wear in the morning really be that tiring?”—but once I settled on a white dress, it turned out to be incredibly easy.
I wasn't really particular about what I wore every day—I could usually get ready and leave the house within five minutes of waking up—but I'm still surprised at how comfortable this feels!
The accumulation of seemingly trivial “decisions”—ones you may not even realize you’re making—may be causing decision fatigue without you even realizing it.
Since it's the end of the year, it turned out to be a great "decision" to declutter (*^^*)
