I’m a little late in sharing this, but today’s Learning of Tomorrow Online Symposium will feature Mr. Shota Tsuji, Head of the FC Imabari High School Launch Preparation Office (scheduled to become principal of the Satoyama Campus in April 2024) and CEO of Machinaka Campus Co., Ltd.

FC Imabari High School Satoyama Campus is a private high school in Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture, with Takeshi Okada—former head coach of the Japanese national soccer team—serving as its principal. The school aims to open in April 2024.Aiming to nurture leaders with “Historic Captaincy”—the ability to shape the future course of world history—the school has established a unique curriculum that emphasizes practical learning and hands-on experience to foster each student’s sense of autonomy. It also prioritizes a positive attitude and motivation toward learning over basic academic skills, as evidenced by its policy of not administering any academic entrance exams.

What does a learning approach look like that enables students to take initiative, think for themselves, and respect each other’s differences as they navigate life in society? We will introduce the initiatives and goals of FC Imabari High School’s Satoyama Campus. We hope you’ll join us.
