FC Imabari High School Satoyama Campus is a private high school in Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture, with Takeshi Okada—former head coach of the Japan national soccer team—serving as its principal. The school aims to open in April 2024.Aiming to nurture leaders with “Historic Captaincy”—the ability to shape the future course of world history—the school has established a unique curriculum that emphasizes practical learning and hands-on experience to foster each student’s sense of autonomy. It also prioritizes a positive attitude and motivation in tackling challenges while still valuing foundational academic skills; as such, it has adopted the distinctive policy of not administering any academic entrance exams.

What does a learning approach look like that enables students to take initiative, think for themselves, and respect each other’s differences as they navigate life in society? We’ll be introducing the initiatives and goals of FC Imabari High School’s Satoyama Campus. We hope you’ll join us.
