CANVAS [Report] “Let’s Recreate Plants Using All Five Senses: Find Your Favorite Flowers and Plants in Ark’s Garden and Try Making 3D Flower Arrangements” On Saturday, October 28, we held the event “Let’s Recreate Plants Using All Five Senses: Find Your Favorite Flowers and Plants in Ark’s Garden and Try Making 3D Flower Arrangements” 🌻
*We were pleased to welcome author Ikuko Matsuo as a special guest.
What parts make up a flower? “Flower, stem, and leaves”
Pick a piece of construction paper in your favorite color, and let's try folding, cutting, and making the flowers you all imagine.
Once you've got the basic shape of the flower down, let's go see some real flowers!
What kind of flowers are blooming? What shape are the petals? Do the leaves and stems look like what you imagined?
I made the flowers again while carefully recalling the ones I had observed.
Even the tiny parts, like the sepals and pistils, were carefully crafted, resulting in colorful, three-dimensional plants!
The next GREENWORKSHOP will be held on Saturday, November 25: “~Fallen Leaves Are Treasures~ Let’s Collect Fallen Leaves to Make Stained Glass and Compost.” We hope you’ll join us! 🍂
*We are pleased to welcome Shiho Mako, a Nature Game instructor, as our special guest.
