Speaker at the UN-Hosted IGF

I participated in the IGF, an international conference organized by the United Nations to discuss digital society.

The session titled “Access & Innovation for Revitalizing the SDGs,” held in the largest hall, the “High Level Leaders Session,” where I took the stage alongside the Rector of the United Nations University, the UN Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs, the Minister of Environment of the Maldives, the Secretary-General of the Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT), the Secretary-General of the European Telecommunications Network Operators’ Association (ETNO), and the Vice President of META.

When the time came, the scheduled moderator hadn't shown up, so the panel discussion proceeded with a last-minute replacement moderator.

Even though it's such a major conference organized by the United Nations, I can't believe that actually happens.
