- [June 7] “Implementing Inclusive Education: What We Can Do in Regular Classrooms Right Now”
Next week's Learning of Tomorrow Online Symposium is titled "Implementing Inclusive Education: What We Can Do in Regular Classrooms Right Now."
In today's society, there is a growing need to realize a society of mutual coexistence where people can recognize and accept one another's diversity. The essence of inclusive education is an educational approach for all children, based on the fundamental premise that everyone is different.
How can we strike a balance between providing personalized, optimal learning tailored to each individual and fostering an environment where diverse individuals learn together?
We will hear from Shingo Aoyama, a researcher in inclusive education (Associate Professor at Notre Dame Seishin Women’s University and Director of the Center for Inclusive Education Research), who will discuss the characteristics and challenges of inclusive education, using concrete examples.
We hope you'll join us!
