On February 22, Learning of Tomorrow hosted an online symposium titled “Open Badges: The Cornerstone of the Education Ecosystem,” featuring Mr. Toshiaki Yoshida, Executive Director of the Open Badge Network, a general incorporated foundation.

In the first half, Mr. Yoshida gave a presentation on open badges—digital credentials issued in accordance with globally recognized technical standards—including an overview of the concept and examples of their use in the field of education. The second half consisted of a question-and-answer session with the audience.
