- [Report] Part 1 of the 114th Session: “How Imperfect Robots Create Relationships of Mutual Support”
On February 15, 2023, Learning of Tomorrow hosted an online symposium titled “The Concept of ‘Weak Robots’ and Its Potential Applications in the Field of Learning Support,” featuring Dr. Michio Okada, a professor in the Department of Information and Intelligent Engineering at Toyohashi University of Technology.
In the first half of the symposium, Mr. Okada discussed the concept of “weak robots”—a topic he is currently researching—as well as the various types of robots he has developed. He also outlined their potential applications in the field of education, drawing on the learning support initiatives he is leading as part of the “Aichi Center of Excellence” priority research project. The second half consisted of a question-and-answer session with the audience.
Here's a look at the first half of the event.
