[Report] Part 1 of the 110th Session: “An ‘Anonymous Yet Intimate Metaverse’ Where People Can Choose Their Sense-of-Belonging Communities Will Build a Happy Society”

On December 21, 2022, Learning of Tomorrow hosted Mr. Mikio Iwamura, a director of NTT QONOQ Co., Ltd., for an online symposium titled “The XR World NTT QONOQ Aims to Create and the Potential of the Metaverse.”

In the first half of the symposium, Mr. Iwamura—representing NTT Konokyu, a subsidiary of the NTT Group established to develop and deploy XR (extended reality) technology—explained the company’s goals for XR and how XR technology will transform society, drawing on examples from the company’s business operations. The second half featured a question-and-answer session with participants.

Here's a look at the first half of the event.
