- [January 11 Event] Toward an Education System in Japan That Leaves No One Behind Through New Forms of Collaboration Between “Online and In-Person” and “Government, Schools, and the Private Sector”
Tomorrow's "Learning of Tomorrow" online symposium—the first of the fiscal year—will feature Kumi, the representative of Katariba.
For approximately 20 years, Katariba has been engaged in a variety of educational activities in response to changes in society. The organization provides support such as home visits for children who have stopped attending school, safe spaces for them, and academic assistance. In 2021, it launched “room-K,” an online learning platform for children who are unable to attend school, as well as an online counseling service where parents can seek advice on their concerns.
Drawing on examples from Toda City in Saitama Prefecture, the speaker will discuss insights gained from online support programs, as well as the nature of public-private partnerships and cooperation.
We hope you'll join us.
