- Kino-kuni ICT Programming Contest
Today marks the final judging round of the "Kinokuni ICT Programming Contest," which is held in collaboration with the National Elementary and Junior High School Programming Contest (JJPC).
I served as a judge at the metaverse venue again this year. After listening to the presentations as a group, we were able to visit individual booths in the metaverse, watch the demos, and ask questions. It’s so convenient!
They focus on local issues, think of ways to solve them using technology, build actual demos, and continuously refine their work. They already possess the skills that even adults are expected to have today! It was a heartwarming judging session, filled with a deep love for the community.
It warmed my heart to hear the elementary school student who won the award say, “I can’t wait to see what I’ll get (as a prize)!” That’s right—that’s what you’re most curious about, isn’t it? But this was the first time I’d ever heard such a candid comment!
Congratulations to all the winners!
To all the judges and staff members: Thank you for all your hard work!
