[December 7] “Research and Therapeutic Practices for Developmental Disorders Using Robots”

Tomorrow's Learning of Tomorrow Online Symposium is titled "Research and Therapeutic Practice for Developmental Disorders Using Robots."

Children with ASD (autism spectrum disorder) tend to have difficulty communicating with others. Various studies have been conducted on using robots to support the development of communication skills and social skills in children with ASD, and there are high hopes for their practical application.Professor Kojima of the Graduate School of Education at Tohoku University, who developed “Keepon”—a stuffed animal-style robot designed to support communication therapy—and is conducting research on the use of robots in therapeutic education, will share practical examples from communication therapy settings and discuss the potential applications of robotics. We hope you will join us.

Since I also live with several robots, I am very interested in the use of robots in educational settings.
