[Report] Part 1 of the 104th Session: “Innovation Arises from Enhancing ‘Collaborative Capabilities.’ In Digital Transformation, What Matters Most Is the Mindset to Embrace Change, Not Just Technology”

On October 26, 2022, Learning of Tomorrow hosted an online symposium titled “How to Advance Digital Transformation (DX) in Companies and Educational Institutions,” featuring Ken Sakamura, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Collaboration at Toyo University and Professor Emeritus at the University of Tokyo.

In the first half of the symposium, we explored how to advance digital transformation (DX) in both the corporate and academic sectors, drawing on real-world examples of DX from the Institute for Information and Networked Systems (INIAD) at Toyo University—founded by Professor Sakamura—to gain insights into what is truly required for DX. The second half featured a question-and-answer session with the participants.

Here's a look at the first half of the event.
