Inter-academic Entrepreneur School Startup Program (IESSP) Selection Committee

We want to support students who wish to start businesses beyond the confines of educational institutions.

We aim to contribute to the revitalization of entrepreneurship nationwide by building a community of business leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, and mentors, and connecting it with educational institutions.

That was the spirit behind the launch of the Inter-academic Entrepreneur School. This past weekend, we held a presentation review session featuring four teams selected from among the participants in the Inter-academic Entrepreneur School Startup Program (IESSP). (I joined online!)

IESSP. We’ve had a large number of students participate since the very first session, and already three companies have been launched, with two more in the works. According to a survey of 200 respondents, the average satisfaction rating for the curriculum was 8.96, for mentoring 9.53, and for the program as a whole 9.1. We’re thrilled!

Well then, since this is the inaugural program, the achievements of the members who presented here will serve as role models for future entrepreneurs—and there were plenty of plans presented that lived up to that expectation.

I was impressed by each proposal—ideas born of unique thinking and keen insight, backed by well-thought-out plans for their implementation.

I’m so excited about the team pairings—like the University of Tokyo vs. Shimane University and Kobe University vs. Waseda University—which are Meta Universities!

This is just the starting point! Keep at it with perseverance until you succeed!

We would like to express our sincere gratitude not only to all the participants but also to everyone who helped make this program a success.

Thank you very much!
