Rhinoceros Beetle

The rhinoceros beetles we caught in 2018 managed to survive for four generations, but unfortunately, none hatched this year.

However, starting this weekend, 10 of them have come to live with us.

The photo shows the most impressive Miyama stag beetle.

Caught in Niigata, just like every year. Ah, it's that time of year again!
