Clips used to hold or bundle papers
This time, we used a looooot of clips to give everyone’s rooms—and everyone themselves—a makeover!
First, let's try attaching a paperclip to a piece of paper that's been rolled up into a tube.

How many should I put on? Where should I put them??
What happened when you blew a little breath on it?
Did the way the paper moves change depending on where I placed the clips or how many I used?
Now, let's try connecting the clips.

1, 2… 10… How many can you connect??
Some kids even connected lots of clips to make a chain longer than they were tall.

Finally, use the clips to decorate your room or yourself.
I transformed my look by making all kinds of accessories using just hair clips and by carefully coordinating the colors as I connected them.

Some kids even used a combination of yarn and clips to create dynamic decorations for their rooms!
I experimented with different ways to shape the hanging yarn and figured out how to secure the clips so they wouldn't move.

We tied the pieces of furniture together with yarn, and we even made a big cable car!
By using the clips, perhaps you were able to experience your room—and even yourself—in a slightly different way than usual.
If you have any extra clips, why not use them to keep transforming your room and yourself?
(If you want to redecorate your room, please talk it over with your parents.)
The next Secret Base event is on Sunday, May 29.
See you again soon
