- [Announcement] “Optimized, Individualized Support Through Data Utilization: Minoh City’s Initiatives”
For the online symposium on Wednesday, May 25, we are pleased to welcome Mr. Tetsuro Kurata, former mayor of Minoh City, Osaka Prefecture, who will speak on the topic “Optimized Individual Support Through Data Utilization: Minoh City’s Initiatives.”
Mr. Kurata served as mayor for three terms spanning 12 years. During his tenure, he devoted particular attention to the field of education, including serving as an expert member of the government’s Council for the Revitalization of Education. As mayor, he spearheaded various reforms in Minoh City’s public education system, such as conducting analyses using highly useful data and implementing operational improvements in schools.
Amid concerns and skepticism regarding the government’s use of data, Mr. Kurata will discuss Minoh City’s initiative, which has achieved positive results and garnered support from residents. We hope you will join us.
