While children’s play environments have changed significantly over time, the world of digital games is also expanding to offer learning opportunities that encourage children’s independent activities and foster the seeds of curiosity. Research findings from around the world have shown that “games bring out children’s abilities,” and games serve as an excellent tool for trial and error while maintaining motivation.

Mr. Toru Fujimoto is a leading authority in Japan on “game-based learning,” which uses games to enhance learning outcomes. Mr. Fujimoto, who states that “games can also develop ‘non-cognitive skills’ that cannot be measured by traditional school grades,” will deliver a talk titled “The Potential of Games for Play and Learning.” We hope you will join us.
