Special Exhibition: “You and the Robot”

You and the Robot: What Is a Human? @ the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation.

Our very own KMD will also be exhibiting.

It has been 100 years since the term “robot” was coined.

I truly feel that the roles expected of robots have expanded remarkably, and that our relationship with them has changed and evolved significantly.

The biggest highlight was being able to experience the entire “Weak Robot” series all at once.

It's a shame I didn't get to meet "NICOBO," the robot that talks in its sleep and farts.

A robot that’s useless but fun. A robot that’s useless but soothing. A robot that’s useless but keeps you company.

I really think it’s a robot that’s very Japanese.

I hope robots will take on a more pop and cute image!

With that in mind, we’re planning to create a space at city&tech where we can discuss and put into practice the concept of “a world where robots coexist with people in the city.”
