The star of this story is aluminum foil
You can use it in the kitchen to bake treats or wrap various ingredients,
Aluminum foil is handy for wrapping things, but today let’s really go all out and use it as a material!

What can you do with aluminum foil?
First, let's start by practicing cutting aluminum foil.
Stay focused and be careful not to cut yourself.
Cutting in a straight line is surprisingly difficult, but I've gotten better and better at cutting smoothly!
In the preschool class, the children create a variety of art projects using long, thin strips of aluminum foil.

Wrap it around your head, make bracelets or rings, or combine several long, thin strips of aluminum foil to create butterflies or flowers
In addition, all sorts of other creations—like ring toss games, octopuses, and mushrooms—were made!
In the mixed-ability class, many three-dimensional artworks were created!
A container for a remote control, a cat, an umbrella, a boat, a bowl, and a spoon…
It was wonderful to see how the details in the larger pieces were so meticulously crafted and how the colors were applied, leading to each artist’s unique creative approach.

Stay tuned for the next Secret Base!
