- [Video Release] “Preventing Children from Becoming Isolated from Society: How to Manage Time Spent Online and Playing Video Games”
On November 24, 2021, Learning of Tomorrow hosted an online symposium titled “Preventing Children from Becoming Isolated from Society: How to Manage Relationships with the Internet and Video Games,” featuring Dr. Toru Yoshikawa, a child psychiatrist and Director of the Department of Child Mental Health at the Aichi Prefectural Medical and Rehabilitation Comprehensive Center Central Hospital.
In the first half, Mr. Yoshikawa discussed children’s actual Internet usage, ICT literacy, and what adults can do to prevent children from becoming isolated, drawing on examples from his own family. In the second half, there was a question-and-answer session with the audience.
