[Report] Part 1 of the 70th Session: “Preventing Children from Becoming Isolated from Society: How to Manage Their Use of the Internet and Video Games”

On November 24, 2021, Learning of Tomorrow hosted an online symposium featuring Dr. Toru Yoshikawa, a child psychiatrist and Director of the Department of Child Mental Health at the Aichi Prefectural Medical and Rehabilitation Comprehensive Center Central Hospital.

In the first half of the symposium, Mr. Yoshikawa discussed children’s actual Internet usage, ICT literacy, and what adults can do to prevent children from becoming isolated, drawing on examples from his own family. The second half consisted of a question-and-answer session with the participants.

Here's a look at the first half of the event.
