Event on November 24: “Preventing Children from Becoming Socially Isolated: How to Manage Internet and Video Game Use”

At the Learning of Tomorrow Online Symposium taking place the day after tomorrow, we will welcome Dr. Toru Yoshikawa, a child psychiatrist, who will speak on the topic, “Preventing Children from Becoming Isolated from Society: How to Manage Screen Time and Video Games.” Dr. Yoshikawa has long been involved in child mental health care, with a focus on developmental disorders, and is also engaged in collaborative efforts with government agencies and parent support groups.

We’ll be hearing from Professor Yoshikawa—author of *Children Who Can’t Break Away from the World of Games and the Internet* (Godo Publishing) and someone who says he himself “grew up completely immersed in the world of the internet and video games”—about what we should keep in mind to maintain a healthy relationship with the internet and video games. We hope you’ll join us.
