- NHK Central Broadcasting Program Council
The NHK Central Broadcasting Program Council, which had always been held online, switched to a hybrid format starting with its last meeting.
So, watching scheduled shows is back on.
The program featured this time was “The Manual for Everything: Appetite.” It introduced a weight-loss method based on research from Johns Hopkins University, which suggests that by fasting for 16 to 18 hours, you don’t need to restrain your appetite during the remaining hours.
Just as I was thinking, “Okay, starting today!” I stumbled upon my all-time favorite Pringles Sour Cream & Cheese Triple Thick. I couldn’t resist. I’ll finish the whole bag starting at 11:30 p.m.
At the very least, I’ll try practicing “mindful eating” (focusing on food and savoring it while fully engaging all five senses to achieve a sense of fullness), which was also mentioned.
Then I just couldn't stop wondering, "Is this really three times as much?"
Fall is the season for indulging in good food. My appetite just won't stop, so I think I'll try something new somewhere. You should give it a try, too.
