We held the 3rd meeting of the Meta University Working Group.
Date and Time: Monday, October 25, 2021, 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
*Online event*
Contents:
Presentation by Mr. Yamawaki of Castalia Co., Ltd.: “Lifelong Learning and Digital Badges”- Definition of Digital Talent, Career Maps, Skill Definitions, etc.
- The DIY DX Squad
Key Comments:
- The conditions for sustained independent learning are motivation and external pressure, as well as the acquisition of credits and peer pressure. Community-based learning is effective.
- We need to develop talent that “predicts” the future based on data, rather than talent that merely tests “hypotheses.”
- Talent development should not focus solely on individual abilities; it is also important to acquire the ability to communicate with others and contribute to their well-being.
- The “Unannounced DX Squad” builds a system where members show up unannounced, solve problems on their own, get hired if their work is appreciated, and receive thanks without being asked. The key is: ① working as a team, ② solving problems, and ③ receiving endorsement.
Looking Ahead
- Compile an interim report on the definition of digital talent and career maps
- Develop a concrete draft plan for the “DIY DX Team”
