*In-person workshops have been canceled due to the spread of COVID-19.

In September 2021, we held an online session of “The Institute in Takeshiba,” featuring guest lecturer yocco, a costume designer.

"Yocco's~ Sing-Along~~ Radio~~~!" Accompanied by Yocco's energetic call, what began was…

An online workshop in a radio-style format where you can participate with your camera off. It’s a sewing workshop, but you keep your camera off. It’s sewing, but there’s no demonstration. Huh? What’s going on here~?

~~♡A Message from yocco♡~~

These days, we're inundated with visual information.

There are certainly some qualities that are immediately apparent, but,

This time, I tried a new challenge called “Focus on Your Ears and Hands!”

Let's call it SEWING RADIO

Story (Words) Listen to the story, use your imagination, and get your hands moving.

When using the same ingredients and following the same instructions, the result is,

Everyone is so different—100 people, 100 unique personalities!

This is so fun!

Creations that aren't made with the goal of imitating someone else's example or following a "correct" answer

I hope you enjoy it.

That's right. In fact, everyone's finished pieces were so diverse and truly powerful that every time photos of them arrived at the secretariat, I couldn't help but let out a spontaneous "Wowwwww!"
