[Video Released] Episode 55: “Rethinking the Structural Transformation of Public Education, Starting with the Question, ‘What Is the Purpose of Education in the First Place?’”

On July 20, 2021, Learning of Tomorrow hosted an online symposium featuring Kazunori Tomano, an associate professor in the Faculty of Education at Kumamoto University and a philosopher of education.

In the first half, Mr. Tomano gave a lecture on the role of public education in radically transforming human history, the distortions that have arisen over the past 150 years, and the “three keys” to structurally transforming “learning” and “public education.” The second half consisted of a question-and-answer session with the audience.

We have also published the report.
