The theme of this program was “There’s Something in the Little Box!”
What could it be?
It’s kind of scary…
Maybe a ghost?
An alien?
Since the box is small, it must be something small! Beads, maybe?
I bet it’s a bug!(Some kids said, “No way~!”)
A little bird is chirping inside the box!…
Just hearing the phrase “There’s something in the little box!” seemed to bring all sorts of things to everyone’s minds.

■Make something using only the items inside the small boxes.
Four small boxes labeled with the numbers 1 through 4. That’s all we’ll be using this time.
What can you make using only the items inside these small boxes?
Take the boxes labeled with the numbers we’ve called out in order, and let’s all open them together.
Before opening them, some children shake the boxes and try to guess, “I wonder what’s inside?”

■The first box contained a little chick figurine and some white masking tape.
So cute!It even has little “ears” on it!
The next box contains a small silver egg…
Some kids put the chick inside the egg without even being told.
So, first of all, what should we do with the contents of these two boxes?

■The third and fourth boxes contain all kinds of materials.
Using just the items inside the boxes and a few simple tools, each world comes to life.
When I listened to the stories, they were just like fairy tales—I could have listened forever!

I'm looking forward to seeing you again in August!
Have a great summer vacation!
