Sleeping on a Flight

Here's one that was posted for the first time in a while.

Even on flights that last nearly 10 hours, I sleep the whole time without eating a single meal, so when I get off the plane, flight attendants often ask me, “Are you okay?”

On top of that, I fall asleep as soon as I get on, so I completely lose track of time…

Yesterday, the announcement that plays during takeoff and landing sounded again, so I suddenly woke up thinking we had arrived—only to realize we hadn’t taken off yet.

I did the same thing on my flight to Washington—I think I must have intuitively sensed something was off at some point—and I ended up asking, “Are we there yet?”

Then they told me, “We haven’t taken off yet,” and… After that, I felt kind of embarrassed, so I just ended up sleeping the whole time.

I’d been having a bit of trouble falling asleep lately, but this flight reminded me that my one and only special talent is “being able to fall asleep instantly, faster than Nobita, anytime, anywhere.”

There's no way I wouldn't be able to sleep!!!

He also serves as a director of the Digital Signage Consortium, among other roles. He holds a Ph.D. in Policy and Media.
    His publications include *Turning On Children’s Creativity!*, *What Are Smart Kids Doing on Their Smartphones?*, *The Forefront of Online Education in Japan: Considering Learning in the Post-COVID Era*,“What Is Programming Education? 45 Questions Parents Want to Know,” and “Declaration on Digital Education.” He has also provided supervision for numerous works, including “Ah, I See! Programming Education for Parents and Children Through Manga.”
