- [Event Report] “Change tomorrow: Chomorrow”
Things have been a bit hectic, so this post is a little late, but the Pop & Tech Event…
"Change tomorrow: nicknamed Chomorrow"
It went off without a hitch!

Education, sports, music, anime… An event organized through collaboration among multiple industry groups.
We’d been preparing for this for two years, but due to COVID-19, it kept getting postponed, and we were in a situation where we weren’t sure when we’d finally be able to hold it…
We somehow managed to pull it off.
This event was also held in conjunction with the KMD Forum and marked Keio University’s first in-person event since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. We would like to express our gratitude to the members of the Keio University Board of Trustees for granting their approval to hold this event.
There was a post on a Chomorrow exhibitor's Facebook page that said, "If we don't take thorough infection control measures and do everything we can, we won't be able to see the sparkle in the children's eyes—"
Since it had been a while since we’d held an in-person event, I was struck by how lively the exhibitors and students looked as they set up.
And, of course, the smiling faces of the visitors!!! After all, there's nothing better than having fun while doing activities with a smile—for kids and adults alike.
We discussed that we should definitely follow infection control measures with rules that were almost too strict—and we made sure to follow them thoroughly.
Although the event took place a year later than originally planned following the town’s opening, it was great that we were ultimately able to create an event that truly blended into the community.
Although the final tally is still being compiled, preliminary reports indicate that approximately 20,000 people—both in person and online—enjoyed the event.
Thank you to everyone who attended and to everyone who watched.
And to everyone involved, thank you so much for all your hard work!
Let's keep it up for 70 years.
