KMD Keio KMD and iU (Professional University for Information Management and Innovation) Sign an MOU Keio KMD and iU (Professional University for Information, Management, and Innovation) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU). The goal is for the KMD Research Institute and iU to collaborate on advancing the “Super Research Institute (B lab)” initiative, which connects other research institutions. I will assume the position of director of this Super Research Institute.
To realize a creative society, the “Super Research Institute (B lab)” initiative will build a research institute community based on global open innovation that redefines the existing frameworks and methods of academia and research. I’ll be serving as a professor at KMD Research Institute while also serving as director of the iU Institute—it’s a research institute that transcends boundaries, isn’t it?
When I joined the MIT Media Lab, I thought to myself, “I’d like to create a research institute like the Media Lab in Japan”—one that’s more open, autonomous, decentralized, and collaborative. Check out Chomorrow for more details!
