[Report] Our Secret Hideout: February Log

We held an event called “The Mystery of Sprouts: Planting Seeds in All Sorts of Things” 🌱

This week's "Huh?" question is, "Can plants sprout even without soil?". Have you ever planted seeds? You plant the seeds in soil and water them. Do seeds really need soil to sprout?? First, let’s take a close look at the soil 👀

Is it soft or hard? What does it smell like? What would be a good substitute for soil? Should it be something similar to soil, or something completely different? Sponges, cotton, coffee, nori… and so on! “Because it looks like soil!” “Because it’s fluffy and soft!”Everyone planted their seeds in whatever they thought would “make the sprouts grow!” Should they bury them deep inside, or just place them on top? They also put a lot of thought into where to plant the seeds. I wonder if the seeds will sprout or not! ✨

I'll water it thoroughly for two weeks and keep an eye on it—I'm looking forward to the day you tell me the results!
